    The Precast Lining for Casting Ladles

    A patent on precast lining for casting ladles was registered on the 15th April 2016, the invention comprises of a securely releasable and engage able base with at least one interconnecting and stackable precast ring.

    The base and the precast rings may each comprise of engagement formations facilitating releasable engagement, interlocking and / or stacking.

    This lining invention comprises of fewer parts when compared to the conventional refractory brick lining. As such, there is a lower probability of error in completing the construction. The invention precludes drying time associated with the laying of a conventional refractory brick lining where bricks are secured in place together with an adhesive that requires a long drying time. The quick assembly and disassembly time of the invention, and the possibility to use different rings of different materials, provides for a significant improvement as regards versatility of use when compared to the prior art.
